1 Information We Collect

A. School Administrator Data

We collect your Name, Phone Number, Email Address, and School Details when you register for an account to provide you with the Service.

B. Student & Staff Data (Sensitive Personal Data)

You may upload data related to your students and staff (e.g., Names, Roll Numbers, Parent Phone Numbers, Attendance records, Fee records, Timetables).
Important: You, the School, are the owner ("Data Fiduciary") of this data. We process it solely to provide the functionalities of the App.

C. CRM Leads, Inventory, & Expense Data

Data regarding prospective students (leads), financial expenses, and vendors uploaded through our CRM and Inventory modules is stored securely. Schoolenco acts only as a processor and does not access, audit, or sell this operational data.

D. Direct Consumer Data (Student Subscriptions)

If a student or parent subscribes to our services directly through the App, we collect necessary payment and usage data. For users under 18, verifiable parental consent is required. Schoolenco acts as the Data Fiduciary for direct consumer subscriptions.

2 How We Use Your Data

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To send automated fee reminders and attendance notifications via WhatsApp/SMS (as requested by you).
  • To process payments via our secure payment partners.
  • To improve the performance and security of our Platform.

3 Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do NOT sell or rent your data to advertisers.

We share data only with trusted third-party service providers necessary for our operations:

  • Cloud Hosting: AWS / DigitalOcean / Vercel (for secure data storage).
  • Payment Gateways: Razorpay (for processing subscription payments).
  • Communication Services: WhatsApp Business API / SMS Providers (to send your notifications).

4 Data Security

We implement reasonable security practices and procedures as mandated by the IT Act, 2000.

Data in transit is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols.

Access Control

Strict access controls ensure that only authorized personnel can access server infrastructure.

As a user, you have the right to:

  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your account and associated data (subject to our data retention for legal compliance).
